Where Preparation Meets Opportunity!
The Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) was established in 1976 by the University of California (UC) in keeping with a recommendation by the California Legislature to expand opportunities for all California students. In particular, the EAOP mission is to empower students from historically first-generation college-going, socioeconomically disadvantage and English-language learning communities to become competitive applicants for colleges and universities.
As the UC largest academic preparation program, the EAOP is committed to making preparation for success in college not just an option; but also a reality by helping students achieve their educational goals regardless of institution.
